Park & Ride
Visitors can use the parking facilities at CASTELLO Düsseldorf for Japan-Tag.
The Park & Ride KombiTicket includes a parking ticket for the respective parking garage as well as a public transport ticket for the entire Düsseldorf city area. From CASTELLO you can reach the city center from the S-Bahn station Reisholz S in about 40 minutes.

With its extensive network of routes, the Rheinbahn will get you to your destination by tram, bus or underground railway. It takes just a few minutes on the underground from the main railway station to the Old Town. The association with the Verkehrsbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR – Regional Transport Association) means that uniform fares are charged throughout the region's public transport systems and on the surcharge-free Deutsche Bahn trains.
The Düsseldorf trade-fair centre is easy to get to on the U78 underground tram – which will also help you avoid traffic jams.

With the DüsseldorfCard you have free use of public transports within the city as well as free entry to museums, reductions on city tours, boat tours, opera, theatre, variety theatre - a total of 30 benefits.

A new long-distance bus station for trans-European bus trips opened in the middle of December 2009. The central bus station with comfortable waiting rooms is located on the Worringer Strasse just next to the main railway station.

You can get to Düsseldorf on modern coaches from many European cities. The tourist information office is located close to this bus station; you can book accommodation, city tours, tickets for events and much more here.

Onward travel by rail
The "Düsseldorf Flughafen" railway station is located at one of Europe’s main rail junctions. Around 300 trains – ICE, IC, EC and local trains/light rail – stop here every day.

The S11 will take you directly from the terminal to the Hauptbahnhof in around 12 minutes.
